My Saturday night was spent searching for new running shoes. Initially I was going to pay a visit to Fleet Feet in Downtown Decatur to pick up a pair but just the fact that it was going to cost me about $100+ dollars was a complete turn-off. Instead, I went to my local Sports Authority to see if the running gods were ever in my favor and boy did they come through. Check out these beauties:

These are the New Balance 770 v2. These bad boys are pretty in pink, black and white. They are extremely light (which is important for us runners) and pretty flexible. If you have any issues with overpronation (which I do not), these are the perfect shoes for you. They usually retail for $89.99, but New Balance has them on sale for $69.99 and I snagged them at Sports Authority for $49.99. Not bad, eh? I plan to test these out later today in neighborhood to see how they do on the pavement. Stay tuned!
