Couch to 5K

With my wedding a short 4 months away (eek!), I haven't had much time to workout the way I want. Between working, motherhood and wedding planning, I'm lucky to get 6 hours of sleep each night and we all know that isn't good when you are trying to lose weight.

My overall goal is to lose 15 pounds by my wedding date or at least the month before. The last race I ran was in December and I've been feeling some kind of way about them. My family has requested that I cut back from running so that I don't injury myself before the wedding but its my stress reliever and I need it. Other forms of cardio just don't quite do it for me but I've never been one to follow the rules anyway :)

With that being said, I realized that it is never to late to start all over again and for that, I will be restarting the couch to 5k program. I really enjoyed it last time I did it so I'm going for the gusto again.

This nifty little app is going to help me lose those 15 pounds and get my running stamina back up. I plan to be ready and race ready in the next few weeks so wish me luck!

  1. Cut back on running so you dont injure yourself for the wedding? Unless there is something I'm not thinking about, I dont think thats a concern. Get your run on girl! You will be just fine walking down that aisle.
